FIVE STARS FOR A FANTASTIC CITY TOUR OF MUNICH!

We had the pleasure of experiencing a two-hour city tour of Munich with my host family from the USA, and it was absolutely amazing! Christine was not only incredibly friendly and welcoming but also exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

With her humor and charming personality, she brought Munich's history to life and managed to entertain all of us—locals and visitors from overseas alike.

We visited many of the city’s highlights, including the impressive Frauenkirche, Marienplatz with its famous Glockenspiel, St. Peter’s Church, and the legendary Hofbräuhaus. Her fascinating anecdotes and stories turned the tour into an unforgettable experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would wholeheartedly recommend this tour—and especially our wonderful guide—to anyone. Thank you for the perfect mix of history, humor, and hospitality!

WE COMPLETED A HALF-DAY TOUR WITH CHRISTINE FROM MUNICH BY CHRISTINE AND IT WAS WONDERFUL!​

To start, Christine was very responsive and flexible in scheduling our tour. I actually contacted her via email just a day or two before we were scheduled to arrive in Munich, and she happily made time to fit us into a very busy week (the last weekend of Oktoberfest). Christine was also prompt to contact me when the weather forecast for our tour day changed, and considerately offered to adjust our tour from full day to a half day, while adding on the tour at a nearby castle to give us a reprieve from the weather. Christine promptly arrived at our hotel (Opera Hotel) the morning of our tour, which started as soon as we stepped out the doors!



The mix of historical sites and local favorites she walked us through was a warm welcome on a gloomy cold-weather day. Christine truly focused her customization of our tour on our unique interests (food, history, architecture) - we visited a delicious local crepe stand and delicatessen, hit a little-known coffee shop, saw several famous Munich landmarks featuring the architecture/design styles throughout the different monarchs and a guided Nymphenburg Palace, where other visitors were clearly drawn into Christine’s retelling of history and the interesting tidbits of information that could have easily been overlooked had we visited on our own. Christine finished our tour off with food and entertainment recommendations for our last evening in Munich.



Christine’s passion about Munich’s history and the local knowledge she shared, coupled with her bright sense of humor, turned a dreary day into a vibrant four hours of great sites, history and modern day Munich.

10/10 would recommend Christine for your first/next visit to Munich!

A SUNNY FACE ON A SNOW DAY IN MUNICH!

We arrived in Munich the day off an unprecedented blizzard for what was to be our walking tour and mer Christine who was, thankfully early. She thought on her feet and talked a she navigated is through the Christmas Markets as she called around and slipped us into the Museum shortly before closing. She was knowledgeable and entertaining as we made our way through the contemporary wing and were most fascinated by the models of Old Munich and new. On a subject that could have been dry and boring, she gave us a deep understanding of the culture in just a few hours (we even knew to have the traditional white wurst and soft pretzel for breakfast the following morning! ) As a Travel Professional, I will be anxious to work with Christine again! She is a pleasure!
